Overview

Select Biosciences is honored to be partnering with the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV) to produce the ISEV2014 Educational Event San Diego which will be held in San Diego in October 2014 on the day prior to the Biofluid Biopsies and Companion Diagnostics 2014 Conference.

ISEV has become the preeminent academic society bringing together researchers focusing on exosomes and microvesicles (collectively extracellular vesicles, EVs) from around the world, and is chaired by Professor Jan Lötvall from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

The ISEV2014 Educational Event San Diego is designed to educate the academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical research community on the most-recent research as well as methodologies that are being utilized to isolate and study exosomes and microvesicles.  All attendees to the educational event will receive electronic copies on CD of the most-recent articles and reviews on exosomes/microvesicles, as well as methods papers and protocols, making this event very practical for senior researchers in this field as well as new entrants seeking a working understanding of exosomes and microvesicles, and actionable information to begin their research efforts.

Professor Lötvall will be chairing the ISEV2014 Educational Event San Diego which features faculty members from around the world.

Format of this educational event will include presentations from the speaking faculty, round-table discussions, as well as reviews of the most recent advances in methods and protocols for EV study.  Delegates will participate in round-table discussions making this an interactive educational event.

Posters from delegates are encouraged as a means to share their most up-to-date research on EVs and EV methodologies.
