This is the latest and most up-to-date Market Report from Select Biosciences addressing the expanding epigenetics marketplace. Epigenetics research efforts are growing around the world driven by the numerous documented associations of epigenetic modifications with diseases—especially various types of cancers.

This report presents the biological role of various epigenetic modifications in vivo and frames them in the context of specific biological events such as differentiation and disease.

This report also examines qualitative and in quantitative terms the research market landscape of epigenetics as it exists currently based on Select Biosciences bottom-up market research on this topic. Presented is market segmentation of epigenetics based on end-user research, based on technology utilization, and based on specific disease areas being studied. The primary market data are derived from a worldwide respondent pool that is highly-representative of the life science research community and therefore provides an excellent proxy for the understanding of the research trends operative in this space.

In addition to characterization of the epigenetics research marketplace, this report also presents an analysis of epigenetic biomarkers and their deployment as potential diagnostics. Also presented herein are the efforts vis-à-vis deployment of epigenetics as therapeutics—in this vein the clinical pipeline as it exists currently is presented.

This data-driven characterization of the epigenetics research landscape is a hands-on document that can be used for competitive benchmarking, business planning, and strategy development—all the data that have been collected in this industry analysis are presented and they form the basis for the conclusions drawn throughout the market report presented in a format enabling “drag-and-drop” into business presentations/business plans.
