Overview

SelectBIO 3D-Printing and Biofabrication 2020 to be held August 17-18, 2020 in Boston brings together researchers from across various disciplines who are involved in the fabrication of functional, engineered tissue constructs.

This field is of great interest for generating in vitro physiological and disease models, for target identification and drug screening, and as potential organ replacements amongst other applications.

A multitude of fabrication approaches to generate tissue engineered constructs exist including photopolymerization, 3D-printing, stereolithography, multiphoton lithography as well as self-assembly approaches. While much progress has been made in generating functional tissues using both synthetic and natural materials, increasing throughput and tissue volume has been challenging. This conference will focus on advanced techniques and approaches being used for biofabrication with a focus on potentially scalable technologies that will allow higher throughput manufacturing of functional tissues.

In addition to scientific presentations, this conference features exhibits with companies showcasing their technologies and product offerings into this field.

Registered delegates receive full access to all co-located and concurrent conference tracks to maximize scientific exchange and networking opportunities.

This conference was originally scheduled for March 23-24, 2020 in Boston but rescheduled due to the worldwide Coronavirus situation.  All registrations, sponsors and exhibitors for the March 2020 meeting have been automatically rolled-over to this meeting.

All visitors entering Massachusetts, including returning residents, who do not meet an exemption, are required to:

Complete the Massachusetts Travel Form prior to arrival, unless you are visiting from a lower-risk state (VT, NH, ME, CT, NY, NJ, HI)

Quarantine for 14 days or produce a negative COVID-19 test result that has been administered up to 72-hours prior to your arrival in Massachusetts.

If your COVID-19 test result has not been received prior to arrival, visitors, and residents must quarantine until they receive a negative test result.

Failure to comply may result in a $500 fine per day.  Please kindly follow the government guidelines carefully.
