Overview

With a continuing increase in the availability and delivery of biotherapeutics, our speakers will talk you through an array of topics, with a special focus on the immunological and pathological hurdles that must be overcome for a successful effect. Delegates will hear about the basic cellular mechanisms and where along these mechanisms therapeutics will act, the development of therapies into the emerging market, and the technologies required to accurately interpret results. Excitingly, the double-edged sword of immunotherapy will also be discussed. It is a pleasure to announce that Professor Boyer and Professor Karlsson will be speaking alongside Professor Waldmann – the scientist who developed the first academic antibody therapeutic manufacturing facility.
