Lothar Koch,
Head of Biofabrication Group
Dr. Lothar Koch is Head of the Biofabrication Group in the Nanotechnology Department at Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. the leader of the group "Biological Laser Printing" in the REBIRTH cluster of excellence.
His main research interest is in laser technology, laser-matter interaction, and its application for biofabrication and 3D bioprinting of living cells for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. His current research topics include fabrication of scaffolds by two-photon polymerization and cell printing by laser-induced forward transfer.
