Michael King,
Associate Professor
Michael R. King is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University. He is an expert on the receptor-mediated adhesion of circulating tumor cells, and has developed new computational and in vitro models to study the function of leukocyte, platelets, stem and cancer cells under flow. He has written textbooks on the subjects of statistical methods and microchannel flows, and received numerous awards such as the NSF CAREER Award, Outstanding Research awards from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society of Clinical Chemistry, and is a James D. Watson Investigator of New York State.
