Clarence Lee,
Associate Director
Clarence Lee, Ph.D., is an Associate Director at Life Technologies. For over 7 years, Clarence has been leading a team responsible for developing next-generation sequencing (NGS) applications and collaborations. Currently, the team is focusing on clinical research projects utilizing the Ion Torrent sequencing platforms. Previously, Clarence worked at U.S. Genomics and did his post-doctoral work at UC Santa Cruz studying DNA nanopore sequencing. Clarence and his contributions to NGS have resulted in multiple publications in various journals, such as Clinical Chemistry and Science Translational Medicine. He earned his Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Western Ontario.
