Gregory Dame,
Group Leader
Dr. Gregory Dame is a research scientist at the Department of Microsystems Engineering at the University of Freiburg, leading a lab-on-a-chip group at the chair of sensors. He is working in several research projects and industry collaborations on the development of novel Point-of-Care systems. The main part of his research is directed towards novel lab-on-a-chip technologies for applications in the life sciences, establishing chip-based metabolic cell analysis platforms, in particular lab-on-a-chip systems for bacterial analysis in drinking water, RNA extraction systems esp. for miRNAs and noncoding RNAs in mammalian tumor cells and novel reusable sensors for continuous monitoring of biofilms.
