Jacob Binsley,
Researcher
Jacob is a postgraduate researcher studying for a PhD at the Centre for Metamaterial Research and Innovation based at the University of Exeter. As a member of both the Acoustics and Fluidics group, and the Magnetism and Spintronics group, his work focuses on the development of elasto-magnetic swimming and pumping devices for biomedical applications. In addition to the topic of his presentation, his current work also includes the development of novel filtration systems for microfluidic devices. Jacob received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Exeter in 2018.
