Assistant Research Professor
Laimonas Kelbauskas is an Assistant Research Professor in the Center for Biosignatures Discovery Automation in ASU’s Biodesign Institute. Laimonas has been leading multiparameter single-cell phenotype characterization experiments and a project focusing on intercellular interactions at the single-cell level. He is an expert in biophotonics, live cell imaging, single-cell studies, protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions, and has a strong background in cancer cell biology. Laimonas has over 10 years hands-on research experience in advanced optics, multimode imaging, multidimensional image processing and analysis. He obtained his PhD degree in biophysics from the Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena, Germany in 2003.
