John Collins,
Senior Applications Scientist
Dr. John M. Collins received his PhD degree in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he worked in the Physiology and Biophysics department in Professor Brenda Russell’s laboratory. His research focused on understanding the physical and chemical cues of the cellular microenvironment and their impact on stem cell function. He is a Senior Applications Scientist at NanoInk, Inc. and has been responsible for the development of cell based assays using tip-based lithography. He is currently developing methods to enable single cell manipulation via sub-cellular scaled features of various biomolecules.
