Ashley Sage PhD is currently Director of Business & Market Development for EMEAI at SCIEX, a global leader in analytical mass spectrometry technologies & solutions. In his role, he manages the business team to develop and deploy new strategic analytical strategies for the food science arena which includes applications on food safety, quality and authenticity. Ashley gained his PhD in analytical science in 1995 and has worked in the commercial scientific industry with a primary focus on developing new technology and applications for life science applications during his career. He has worked as an R&D scientist, applications development scientist, lab manager and business development specialist. He is currently a Chartered Chemist with the Royal Society of Chemistry and an Executive Officer of the British Mass Spectrometry Society. He has authored and co-authored numerous papers and regularly presents at conferences globally on advances in LC-MS for food related applications.
