John Coady,
Chief Audit Manager
John is a M.SC graduate of University of Dublin, Trinity College, and worked in the Environmental Health Service in Ireland for 11 years. For the next 9 years until 2001 he worked in the Certification Dept of the National Standards Authority of Ireland carrying out ISO 9000 audits in food and medical device companies.
Since 2001 John has held the position of Chief Investigations and Audit Manager in the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI). Responsibilities in this role include carrying out and coordinating investigations into food fraud /suspected food crime including preparing court cases and giving evidence in prosecutions. He is a member of the FSAI's multi-agency Food Fraud Task Force and acts as liaison between FSAI and other law enforcement agencies on matters relating to food fraud/crime.
