Mien Nguyen,
Research Fellow
Dr. Nguyen (pronounced as “Gwen”) earned a bachelor degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego, and a PhD in Integrated Biology and Disease at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. After her graduate studies, she joined Prof Karl Tryggvason’s laboratory at Duke-NUS Medical School as a research fellow in 2013 where her main focus has been to culture endothelial cells for therapeutic purposes and developing different cell models for in vitro drug testing.
