Claudio Parolo,
Research Fellow
Claudio Parolo received his M.S. degree in industrial biotechnology from University of Padova and his PhD in biotechnology from Autonomous University of Barcelona. His graduate and postgraduate research focused on the development of electrochemical and optical paper-based diagnostic devices (Harvard University and University College London), including a lateral flow immunoassay used to diagnose Ebola in rural Uganda. Since 2016, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California Santa Barbara (Plaxco group) working on the development of novel serological techniques.
