Mr. Arne Lüken studied mechanical engineering B.Sc. and chemical engineering M.Sc. at RWTH Aachen University with a focus in microfluidic additive manufacturing technologies. In his PhD at the institute of chemical process engineering at RWTH Aachen in the group of Prof. Matthias Wessling, Arne Lüken studies filtration of soft matter colloids as purification technology. By introducing microfluidic analytical approaches to the well-established field of membrane filtration he bridges the gap from microscopic single-particle events to macroscopic filtration processes.
