Walking Tour of Cambridge | On Wednesday 17th February, SELECTBIO would like you to join us on a walking tour of the city. You will be taken around the ancient sites by a guide in ritual cloaks (some surprises lie in store).
- Discover where Cambridgeshire witches were tortured and ducked during the horrific 17th century Witch trials of East Anglia
- See where famous scientists studied magic.
- Find out who Dumbledore really was - and where he studied.
- And find out where a 20th century magician named the 'wickedest man in the world' started his career into the occult - and why he is so infamous even today. The tour ends with a taste of modern magic, under moonlight by the river, you will get to experience being involved in a modern witches' magic spell.
We will rendezvous at the entrance to Cripps Court at 18:15, and progress by foot to the meeting point for the walk.
Once the tour has finished you will be able to take in the delights of the local hosterlies and restaurants at your leisure. |
