Stephen Brown, Chief Technical Officer Stephen Brown is CTO and is in charge of Biomanufacturing activities for Vivalis, based in Nantes, Western France. Prior to that, Dr Brown was Director, Biological Process Development for Merial and before that, responsible for the GMP manufacturing site at Transgène, France. Dr Brown received his Ph.D. in Fermentation Technology from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK and holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology from the University of Wales (University College Cardiff), UK.
Claus Tollnick, Head R&D Since 2010, Claus has been Head of Biologics R&D at Sanofi in Germany. He has worked for the company since 1996, first in production and then in various positions in R&D. He spent four years in France to develop a Monoclonal Antibody department.
