Lab-on-a-Chip-Systems – Combining Chip, Instrument and Assay: A full Service Challenge
Claudia Gärtner, CEO, Microfluidic ChipShop GmbH
The system approach in lab-on-a-chip technology is key to make reliable and easy-to-use diagnostic devices happen: The combination of chip, instrument and assay forms the lab-on-a-chip system and requires an interdisciplinary co-development.
A lab-on-a-chip based flexible diagnostic platform will be presented combining the three challenges and making use of modular building blocks for parallel development of the biological assay steps and different assay types.
