Macrocyclization in Continuous Flow
Shawn Collins, Professor, Université de Montréal
Catalysis is widely desired in the preparation of macrocycles, but it is often the high dilution conditions required that make scale-up problematic and dissuade chemists from exploring the applications of macrocycles. Our group has been exploring new catalysis and solvent techniques in continuous flow to development scalable alternatives for macrocyclization of complex molecules.
