From Clinical Sample to Laboratory Measurement: Automating Epidemiological Research

Challenges and solutions related to managing clinical samples and laboratory measurements in large population based studies (up to 40,000 individuals) will be discussed.  Examples will show how different laboratory technology has been applied to population-based epidemiological research with an overall focus on controlling sample integrity and measurement error. .
