Biogen’s Approach to Partnerships and Collaborations in Neurological Disorders and Beyond

Since its inception in 1978, Biogen’s research and development efforts have been guided by science and focused on areas that have the potential to have the most impact and benefit for patients worldwide. A lot goes into making a medicine, and the road from initial idea to creating a product is long and littered with obstacles both foreseen and unexpected. At Biogen, we believe that no one organization has a monopoly on breakthrough science, but that we can significantly accelerate bringing new medicines to patients by working together as great partners. This talk will outline Biogen’s philosophy on partnering, and showcase select examples to highlight our academic partnership approach specifically.
