Simple Blood Collection Solutions for the Future for Homecare

Every minute, more than 10’000 blood collections are being performed in the world using conventional needles. However, this uncomfortable experience has not changed for more than 150 years: blood collection is still a painful, unsafe and expensive procedure. Although the development of non-invasive solutions has progressed tremendously, blood specimens are still a gold standard and are likely to remain so for the next decades at clinical level.
