nCounter Analysis System: Moving from Genomic Discovery to Translational Research

The NanoString nCounter platform enables highly multiplexed RNA and DNA profiling, even from extremely limited and degraded samples, such as FFPE tumor slices. A primer on the underlying technology and performance will be provided, followed by an update on various applications including our new 3D biology assay, enabling simultaneous multiplexed RNA and Protein analysis from the same samples. A variety of translational genomics signatures will be discussed, spanning gene expression, gene fusions, and miRNA profiling across various diseases, as well as the chemistry which makes this sort of translation possible.
