Abstract

Continuous Manufacturing in Pharmaceutical Industry is still in a nascent stage but taking shape as a manufacturing technology of the future. It is predicted that pharma manufacturing will change in the future as current manufacturing practices are abandoned in favor of cleaner, flexible, more efficient and compliant continuous manufacturing. A thorough understanding of the process, application of right scientific tools and supportive regulatory agencies make the scenario conducive to adopt the technology. This presentation discusses some of the technological and regulatory aspects of the continuous manufacturing.
