Practicalities of Automating Human Interaction with Robotic Cells

Robots are often used to automate manual tasks in automation work cells. Robot are used to increase the work cell output for product throughput, quality and contamination. Often these cells work in environments where a human operator may need to load or unload products or samples into the work cell. Sometimes this has to happen without stopping the operation of the robot. This presentation looks at possible solutions and the direction that robotic automation is developing to allow robots to work alongside the human operators.
