How useful to treatment is the information, when this information is limited to the genomic level? At the genomic level, are the gene mutations signature similar between primary and metastatic tumous? How useful is this in clinical decision making in cancer patients? Does the gene expression profile alter between primary and metastatic tumors, when exploring the downstream profile, at the epigenetic and biomarker levels. Epigenetic regulation refers to changes in the phenotypic expression of the genome, which alters gene expression without affecting the DNA sequence. Will determination of the differential expression downstream offer an enhanced personalized approach to support clinical decision making in cancer patients?
