Continuous Flow Organic Chemistry at the Interface of Current Societal Challenges

Current active research areas in the lab include methodology for continuous flow organic synthesis with an impact on current important societal challenges. This lecture illustrates our most recent work within three main specific research areas: (a) the development of innovative, flexible and low environmental footprint synthetic strategies for the preparation of high value-added chemicals (small molecule APIs and large biomacromolecules), (b) the upgrading of bio-based platform molecules and (c) the neutralization of chemical warfare agents.
