Shalini Gupta's Biography

Shalini Gupta, Associate Professor, IIT Delhi

Dr Shalini Gupta is currently Associate Professor at Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Delhi, India. Her areas of Interest are Colloid interactions and nanoscale engineering, self-assembly of molecules at interfaces, on-chip devices for particle manipulation and assembly of colloidal structures, biosensors for diagnostic applications, bioresponsive nanomaterials, microfluidics and nanolithography. Dr Gupta completed her Ph.D. (with Orlin Velev and Peter Kilpatrick) in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University, USA in 2007.She was a Postdoctoral researcher (with Molly Stevens)at Department of Materials, Imperial College London, UK from 2008 – 2009. Dr Gupta is an Editorial board member of many journals and has delivered many Invited Lectures.
