Ramesh Trimbak Sane is Hon. Director of Research and Development and Principal Investigator of the National Facility for Biopharmaceuticals at G. N. Khalsa College, Mumbai. Former Principal of Ramnarian Ruia College and founder co-ordinator of the Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Laboratory, Mumbai, he has been in the field of education and research for more than four decades. He has very strong interactions with the major Indian Pharmaceutical industry and has completed major collaborative research projects from the funding agencies like UGC, ICMR, AYUSH, DBT and DST. His main focus of research has been in the area of bioanalytical sciences. A passionate teacher who likes to train young students and teachers in the thrust areas of teaching and research. Winner of many awards and citations he has to his credit more them one hundred PhD students and 280 research publications in national and international journals.
