N Shankaraiah's Biography

N Shankaraiah, Assistant Professor, NIPER, Hyderabad

Dr. N. Shankaraiah is working as Assistant Professor at NIPER-Hyderabad since 2009. He completed his Ph.D at IICT in 2007 and post-doctoral research at the Talca University, during 2007–2009. He visited the University of CAMPINUS, Brazil in 2008. He received the prestigious Young Scientist Award in 2010 from OPPI. He is the author or coauthor of more than 40 publications in reputed international journals, 1 US patent, and over 20 poster presentations. His primary research interest involves design and synthesis of anticancer agents, combinatorial chemistry, green chemistry, and asymmetric synthesis. He is a reviewer for Chemical Communications, Green Chemistry, RSC advances, Journal of Organic Chemistry, European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, etc.
