Aditya Murthy, Senior Research Investigator, BBRC/Syngene International Ltd.

Aditya Murthy holds a PhD degree from Dept. of Pharmacy, Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani (BITS, Pilani) in Pharmaceutical Drug Delivery Technology. After his PhD, he worked with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Hyderabad as a Postdoctoral Fellow Trainee and later as Scientist in the Proprietary Products department which is focused on developing new therapeutic entities. Here, he worked on developing novel formulations for nasal drug delivery. He is currently working as Senior Research Investigator in Biopharmaceutics Department of Biocon Bristol-Myers Squibb R&D Centre (BBRC), Syngene International Ltd., Bangalore. His work involves understanding biopharmaceutical risks associated with drug substance/drug product and devising strategies to mitigate these risks. He has also worked on enablement technologies that help in accelerating molecules into pre-clinical tox and early clinical studies. He also contributes to oral formulation development that can support Phase 1 and Phase 2 studies. He has 12 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 9 conference presentations to his credit
