Chandrashekhar AKM, General Manager-Technical Operations, Janssen

Chandrashekhar is currently working as General Manager Technical Operations in Janssen, a Pharmaceutical division of Johnson & Johnson. Responsible for technology transfer within Asia Pacific. He was also responsible for global NCE Drug Product Development supporting phase I to phase III. Risk assessment of the process and product leading to successful tech transfer, scale ups, registration and validation. Responsible for dossier writing support and support CMC related health authority queries. Has 22+ years of experience in different Pharmaceutical industries at various capacities. Responsible for setting up of different formulation development laboratories. Developed products for ANDA and regulated markets under the purview of Patent and Regulatory requirements. Development of platform technologies to make the process more robust, and time and cost effective. Handled various dosage forms and processes such as Dispersible and mouth dispersible tablets, Tablet in capsule formulations, Bi-layered tablets, multi component pelletisation and micro tablets for capsules, extrusion and spheronization, transparent gels, in-vitro and in-situ evaluations, powder formulations for oral drink, liquid orals, dry syrups and Dry powder inhalers.
