Philippe Solot's Biography

Philippe Solot, Chief Executive Officer, AICOS Technologies AG

Dr. Philippe Solot is CEO of AICOS Technologies since its foundation in 1997. He looks back at more than 20 years of industrial expertise, using statistical methods in applied projects of the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, mainly in the fields of Design of Experiments, Robust Design, Process Analytical Technology, Statistical Process Control, Data Analysis, Data Mining and Material Flow Simulation. He has coached numerous training sessions, in particular in the area of experimental design and analysis, for pharmacists, chemists, engineers, and lab technicians.
Dr. Solot holds a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, both from the EPFL, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. He has published 20 scientific articles in international journals, as well as many articles in technical journals on applications of statistics and logistics in the process industry.
