Samir Malhotra's Biography

Samir Malhotra, Professor, PGIMER

Dr. Samir Malhotra is Additional Professor in Department of Pharmacology from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. He holds FCP Degree in Clinical Pharmacology from Fellow American College of Clinical Pharmacology. He is DM from PGIMER, Chandigarh and has completed his MD (Pharmacology) from DMC, Ludhiana, and Punjab. He is also MD (Physician) from Pirogov Medical Inst, Moscow. Dr. Malhotra has total 16 years of Post PG teaching experience. He has to his credit, 81 publications apart from having authored 3 book chapters. He is currently engaged in 13 projects from both academics and industry. He is member of British Pharmacology Society, American College of Clinical Pharmacology and several other Scientific Societies. He has been the recipient of the UK Seth Prize for Best paper presenter, Major Amir Chand Silver Medal for his work, PGIMER, Chandigarh and many awards to his credit.
