Vellarkad Viswanadhan, Vice President and Partner, Signalchem Lifescience Corporation

Dr. Vellarkad Viswanadhan received his Ph D in Molecular Biophysics from University of Madras in 1983, and performed post doctoral research at Texas A&M Univ., and National Cancer Institute (USA). His professional experience in pharmaceutical industry spans ~2.5 decades (Amgen, Gensia-Psicor, Jubilant Biosys and SignalChem Corp). Vis is currently involved in the development of SLC India research team and management of Drug Discovery research.

Vis has over thirty years of experience, impacting all aspects of drug discovery, (methodology, target selection, target to hit, hit to lead development, lead optimization, and Pre-clinical candidate development). He is extensively published (75 articles and over 10 patents / applications).
