Anil Pareek's Biography

Anil Pareek, President, Ipca Laboratories Ltd

Dr Anil Pareek is post graduate in Internal medicine form Topiwala National Medical College and Nair Hospital Mumbai, and has also served as faculty in the same institute prior to joining Industry.
He is presently working as President – Medical affairs and Clinical Research with Ipca laboratories Ltd.
Dr Anil Pareek brings with him over 25+years of professional experience that includes areas of clinical research, clinical practices, new drug development, academics, medico-regulatory affairs and medico-marketing.
He has undertaken several research projects funded by national research funding agencies in the area of drug discovery and clinical research.
He brings with him expertise of identifying the treatment gaps across therapeutic areas, developing treatment modalities to bridge these gaps by identifying the opportunities for development of NDDS, chemical modifications and novel formulations.
He has published his research work in the area of Diabetes, hypertension, pain management, inflammation, dermatology and infectious diseases as original research papers in international peer reviewed journals.
Several new product ideas pursued by him have been commercialized. He also holds patents for novel drug combinations in the area of metabolic disorders. He has also presented his research work at several scientific conferences in India and abroad.
