Clemens Horn's Biography



Clemens Horn, Research Scientist, Corning SAS

Clemens Horn has worked for more than 10 years at Corning developing and testing g the Corning Advanced flow reactor (AFR).He did his undergraduate studies at the university of Freiburg and university of Sussex.In1998 he graduated as Diplom Chemiker from the technical university of Braunschweig and received his doctor degree from the university of Nuremberg Erlangen in 2002 for the work on Rhenium carbon wires under the supervision of Professor J. A. Gladysz. After a passage as junior head of a quality control lab and two years in pharmaceutical research he joined Corning, where he is in charge of the in house custom synthesis and part of the AFR research and development team.
