Amin Ismaili's Biography

Amin Ismaili, Technical Director, Alembic Ltd

Mr Amin Ismaili is currently working as Technical Director in Alchemy Engineering Science Institute (AESI) at Paushak Ltd (Division of Alembic Ltd) – Vadodara. He is having bachelor degree in chemical engineering from Gujarat University with 25 years of industrial experience in all aspects of process engineering. Prior joining to AESI he worked with Cadila Pharmaceutical ltd and Torrent Pharmaceutical. During this journey he has worked on 360 deg aspect of process engineering like process equipment design, basic and detail engineering, scale up, technology transfer, plant trouble shooting, capacity debottlenecking and pilot plant operation. Since 2007 he exclusively works on developing different innovative technology for process intensification and continuous flow chemistry He has hand on experience of PAT like Rc1e, Multi organic synthesizer, FBRM, DSC etc.
His current assignment is “END to END conversion of batch process to continuous process by process intensification” for which he has developed proto type lab experimental skid with plug and play options of 25 different in house technology different unit process and unit operations. He has filed 14 patents + published article and papers in various journals & magazine + actively participated as a speaker in various research conference, workshops and engineering colleges.
His dream is ‘HOME FACTORY’ concept i.e to develop Platform Technology which can produce tons of intermediate products in 10 x 12 ft room without any solvent and without and effluent.
