Anurag Hitkari, Principal Advisor/Vice President, PragMetis Pharmaserve LLP

Dr Anurag Hitkari has a vast experience in R & D – API & custom synthesis synthesis, global networking for marketing & business development, projects and commissioning of new manufacturing plants, getting regulatory approvals like USFDA,PMDA, TGA and managing profit and loss account of a business unit.

Dr Hitkari has 4 years academic and 17 year’s industrial experience. Started in Generic API research, CRAMS , and later took a transition to overall management of CRAMS business.

Presently, he is a Consultant, CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing & Control) at Onconova Therapeutic Inc. USA and Principal Advisor to Pragmetis Pharmaserve LLP.

Former he was P & L Head (Vice President) at Zyfine; Vice President, R&D, Unimark Remedies Ltd, Ahmedabad; Growth Unit Head, CRAMS – Jubilant Organosys Ltd, Principal Scientist, R&D, at Alembic.

Dr Hitkari worked extensively on API’s based on Macrolides, Ketolides, Penems, Glycyclines and heterocycles. He has File/Grant many patents including two on novel polymorphs.

He has a several publications to his credit and also a recipient of many Awards and Honors.
