Vijay Mathur, Head of R & D, DiaSys Diagnostics India Pvt. Ltd

Dr. Vijay Mathur is the Head of R&D at DiaSys Diagnostics India Pvt. Ltd in Mumbai, India. He has 24 years of Experience in R&D and Product Development in the field of Electrochemical Biosensors/Immunosensors, Microfluidics, Lab-on-Chip and Medical Diagnostic Instrumentation. He is a well-known Expert with over Fifteen Patents (applications & granted) to his name. He has won Lot of Awards Including the recent “ Best Research & innovation Award” for his Research work in INDIA on Point-of-Care Devices which has Resulted in DiaSys India Acquisition of Piramal’s HealthCare “Diagnostics R&D Technology”. Further, during his 18 years Stay in USA, he worked in Major USA based Diagnostic Companies and Startup Companies where he Launched Six different families of Medical Devices to Market from Concept to Production. He did his M.S from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and Undergraduate from BITS, Pilani. His Career Interests include Lab-on-Chip, Microfludics, Bio MEMS and Electrochemical DNA/Aptamer Biosensors.
