Anil Kumar Gandhi, Director, Formulation Development, Rubicon Research Pvt. Ltd

Dr.Anilkumar Gandhi holds a Doctorate in Pharmaceutics from Institute of Chemical Technology.He is the Director of the Formulation Development at Rubicon Research Pvt. Ltd. since April 2013. He originally joined as the Group Leader in March 2002. During this period he has led a number of research programs from early-stage research on NCEs, lifecycle management options to generic formulations and products for consumer markets.
Dr. Gandhi has also been instrumental in developing Rubicon’s platform technologies in the area of solubilization, gastric retention, controlled release systems, liquid sustained release andtaste-masking techniques.Having worked extensively in collaboration with the wider Pharmaceutical Industries and gaining immense knowledge in the genre, Dr. Gandhi uses his experience to steer the scientific development of the SBU, liaising with partners and has led the company through a transition from a contract development focus to developing an attractive internal product pipeline. His leadership skills in the formulation and analytical team have set a benchmark for his peers.
Dr. Gandhi has always kept himself abreast of the advancements in technologies and accordingly provided advice to the management team in order to keep the company updated at all times. He has received over six career advancements in his association with the Rubicon Research Pvt. Ltd.,Mumbai.Dr. Gandhi has co-authored a book chapter and over 20 articles for scientific publications.He has 30 granted patents and more than 40pending patent applications to his credit. He is also a guide (industrial) for master’s student of various Universities and thesis referee of Mumbai University. He is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and Indian Pharmaceutical Association.
