Praveen Khullar's Biography

Praveen Khullar, Senior Director, Sanofi Aventis Group

Dr. Praveen Khullar has over 26 years of Pharmaceutical R & D experience encompassing areas such as Analytical Development, Formulation Development, Regulatory Affairs and other technical areas of Research and Development. Qualified as M. Pharma from Banaras Hindu University and PhD from Jamia Hamdard, he also has Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management to his credit. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Institute of Management Training and Research, affiliated to the Goa University.

He is a qualified ISO lead auditor. He was Director Technical at the Dabur Research Foundation where he worked in different capacities for a period of about 20 years.

He was also Chairman of the Technical Committee appointed by the Director of Technical Education, Goa. He is currently appointed as a member of the Board of Studies in Pharmacy (Post-Graduate Studies & Research) of the KLE University, Belgaum.

He is an external examiner to many universities and has supervised M. Pharm and PhD students. He has several publications in International journals and many patents to his credit. He has conducted and attended several conferences and seminars in India and abroad.

Presently, he is heading the Development Centre of Sanofi-Synthelabo (I) Ltd., as Senior Director Development Centre, Goa. He is, immediate Past President of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association – Delhi branch.

He has received several awards and certificates for excellence in Pharmaceutical Management, Research and Development. He was adjudged as the Manager of the year in 2009, by the Goa Management Association. He has also received the Asia Pacific Excellence Award instituted by he Citizens Integration Peace Society, New Delhi and the Udyog Rattan Award by the Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi.
