Belgamwar is presently working on DST - WOS- project entitled, “Formulation and Characterization of Intranasal Nanoparticles of Antiretroviral Drugs for CNS Targeting in Neuro-AIDS” as Principal Investigator. She completed her M. Pharmacy in 2005 and was working as Assistant Professor in Agnihotri College of Pharmacy, Maharashtra from 2005- 2012. She has many Research Publications and delivered many presentations.

The
present study will explore a novel method for solubility enhancement of water
insoluble antiretroviral drug Efavirenz by using chitosan –graft-HPßCD
copolymer synthesized by simplified one pot reaction technique and further its
application as carrier for formulation of nanoparticles.
