Korupoju Srinivasa Rao, Director-QbD PharmaSolutions, Piramal Enterprises Limited

Dr. Srinivasa Rao Korupoju currently is a Director, QbD at Piramal Pharma Solutions for past two and half years. He obtained a Ph.D from Central University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, India. He is a prestigious JSPS, Japan and NSC, Taiwan postdoctoral fellow. He is practicing implementation of QbD concepts in API and Generic drug substance development for past five years. Prior to joining Piramal, he was with AstraZeneca India Pvt Ltd, Jubilant Chemsys, and Zyfine (Zydus-Cadila). He has experience in Process development, implementing Physical Organic Concepts, Crystallography, Reaction Kinetics, and hands on experience of handling PAT tools like React IR-4000, NIR, Raman and UV-Vis. He handled MODDE, Minitab, Design Expert, SMSwin, Berkeley-Madonna and Dynochem software. He was also the member of AstraZeneca Computational Chemistry & Process simulation group. He has 13 years of industrial process development experience.
