Nirav Shah's Biography

Nirav Shah, Senior Application Specialist, Umetrics

Mr. Nirav Shah is a Senior Application Specialist with Umetrics based out of Boston for last seven years. He works on applying multivariate statistical process control and QbD strategies with clients to improve process manufacturing and operational efficiency. He has implemented real- time process monitoring and fault detection systems for leading bio-pharma customers such as Biogen, Amgen, Merck, BMS and clients from other industries such as chemical, pulp and paper, food and beverages. Mr. Nirav helps customers in providing better process insights using data driven solutions. He has taught courses and conducted workshops on Multivariate analysis, Design of Experiments and Batch Process Control. Before Umetrics, Nirav was a Process Control Engineer at a systems integrator in New England. He worked on integrating automation and process control systems for bio-pharma companies.
He completed his dual Masters in Chemical and Computer Engineering from University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Babson College in Boston. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering.
