Mike Dragunow, Professor of Pharmacology, Auckland University

Mike Dragunow is a Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
A molecular pharmacologist and neuroscientist, his research focuses on molecular mechanisms of, and treatments for, human brain disorders using molecular pharmacology, high content analysis and adult human brain material (tissue microarray and cell culture).
He has published over 250 scientific articles, has been cited over 16,000 times and has an H-index of 68.

Meningeal fibroblasts form scar tissue in brain. To identify compounds for reducing brain scar formation we have developed a high content assay that measures the proliferation and migration of human meningeal fibroblasts after mechanical injury in a 96-well plate format.
