Matthias Perleth, Department Head Methodological Advice, Federal Joint Committee

Since June 2007 PD Dr. Perleth is Head of the Department for Methodological Advice at the Federal Joint
Committee (G-BA) the highest decision-making body of the joint self-government of physicians, dentists, hospitals and health insurance funds in Germany. The physician holds a Master degree in public health and a
postdoctoral degree (Habilitation) and an appointment as a private lecturer in epidemiology, social medicine
and health system research.
