Alok Chaudhary's Biography

Alok Chaudhary, Senior Research Scientist, Ranbaxy

Mr. Alok got engaged as a dynamic candidate in pharmaceutical analytical research in October 2006 after completing M. Pharm (Quality assurance) from Delhi University. In a professional curriculum of about 8 years, he have added values at Ranbaxy Research Labs for 6 years and supported drive to various ANDA projects. His curriculum included about 2 years of productive and rewarding involvement in various NDA projects at Daiichi Sankyo, Japan.
Planning analytical development experiments with QbD approach and utilizing 2D/3D categorical-non categorical chromatographic simulations on softwares like DryLab, ACD AutoChrom and JMP is one of my primary work focuses. His chromatographic expertise also includes evaluation of LC stationary phases for better industrial utilization.
He enjoy the work on various research activities like accelerated stability assessment programme (ASAP), enantioselective screenings, drug release simulations, degradation mechanism research, solid state research for screening novel pharmaceutical candidates, structural analysis of small molecules, peptide sequencing, SDS-PAGE etc.
He possess a passion of adding specific values to profession before leaving this world behind.

This talk will address the industrial practices and their protocols on acid-alkali hydrolysis, oxidation, photo degradation, thermal and humidity degradation studies. Recent proposals for upgrading the existing degradation practices with a target of better mass balance and degradation closer to real time conditions will be the part of discussion. Solubility concerns in degradation mixture and approaches establishing direct correlation of degradation between assay and related substances methodologies will be addressed alongwith.
