Romaric Lacroix's Biography

Romaric Lacroix, Associate Professor, Aix-Marseille University

Dr. R. Lacroix is a 35 years old associate professor in haematology and immunology at the Vascular Research Center of Marseille head by Pr. Francoise Dignat-George in Marseille (France). This center is recognized for its international expertise on vascular biology, haemostasis, inflammation and angiogenesis, with a great interest in patient‘s oriented translational applications. Within this group, Dr. R. Lacroix is responsible for the microparticles research advancement. During his PhD, he described the plasminogenolytic activities of the endothelial microparticles. He is an expert on flow cytometry analysis for detection and measurement of microparticles. He coordinated several microparticle multicenter studies of the standardization subcommittee in vascular biology of the International Society in Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
